Workshop Description
Working with DID clients can present powerful countertransferential challenges. Ms. Vanore will present a DID/SRA case which is still ongoing, with reflections on surviving the strain on the therapist's emotional and moral resources. The presentation will be somewhat experiential-- that is, will draw on artwork by the client, as well as music and literature used to process Ms. Vanore's countertransference.

Speaker: Joan Vanore, MAMFT, LMHC- a graduate of CTS and a therapist in private practice, with the Integrative Health Resources group on N. Meridian.
